Special exhibition «KEEP IT CO₂OL – Tech to the rescue?»
‘I’m not allowed to fly any more! I should give up my car! And I can’t eat meat anymore either?’ – Actually, climate protection is not about doing without, but about swapping old habits for new possibilities.
Scientists at ETH Zurich are conducting research into technologies that will help us make a good life possible for everyone – even in the future. These include solar fuel for flying, renewable energy for driving cars or meat from cell culture instead of factory farming.
The exhibition ‘KEEP IT CO₂OL?’ by focusTerra shows where we stand – and what we stand to gain. It brings research, politics, business and society into dialogue. Because reducing CO₂ does not mean living less – it means working together to maintain a better quality of life for everyone.
The future is created when technological progress and social change come together.
In addition to the special events, the exhibition will be open during the regular hours for the entire duration of Scientifica.
